Eileen’s new book for children ages 6-12 highlights an unsung hero, young Dr Sam Prescott, who saved the day for the colonists in April 1775 on the eve of the beginning of the American Revolution. Sam courageously escaped from a King’s patrol outside of Lexington after riders Paul Revere was captured and William Dawes fled back to town. It was up to Sam to get the alarm to Concord and save the militia’s supplies.
